Zaheen Shah Taji

Zaheen Shah Taji (Urdu: ذہین شاہ تاجی‎) born Muhammad Tuaseen (Urdu: محمد طوسین‎) on 1902 and died July 23, 1978, was a great sufi of sub-continent as well as an Urdu poet,^[1] philosopher and scholar of high repute

Biography

He was born in Jaipur, India. He was in direct lineage from Umer Farooq and was adapted in Chishtia order of sufism by Syed Muhammad Moinuddin Chishti Ajmeri. Zaheen Shah Taji was the disciple of His Holiness, Hazrat Yusuf Shah Taji, who was disciple of Hazrat Tajuddin Baba of Nagpur.^[2][3]

Literary skill

He has written many books^[4] and Ghazals in Urdu language while he knew Persian, Arabic, English and Hindi languages as well. He used Zaheen as a pen name in his poetry.^[
